NRI Students

NRI Students Overview

The International Admissions Office at LANCASTER Degree College helps the foreign/NRI students with the process of admission to the 15% of the total seats for students available to the foreign/NRI category in various programs.

Foreign students are eligible if they meet the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the various statutory bodies in India or if they get an ‘Equivalency Certificate’ for certain qualifications from the Association of Indian Universities, granted by UGC.

Once a student’s admission is confirmed, the International Admission Office issues a letter to the student to obtain a Student Visa from the Indian Embassy/Consulate. The department also forwards the list of foreign/NRI students admitted along with the required documents to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India to obtain the ‘No Objection Certificates’ for the students to pursue their higher education at LANCASTER GROUP OF INSTITUTUIONS.

Prior to the arrival of the students at any centers of IIFA LANCASTER INSTITUTIONS, Bangalore/Mangalore/Coimbatore, a 'Final Information Package containing Things to do on Arrival' is sent out to students containing details like domestic flight details, academic calendar, medical and other facilities etc.

The Department of Student Affairs looks after the day-to-day affairs of the foreign/NRI students. Please write to the Office of International Admissions for any further details/queries at
